During outdoor season players can expect 10-12 TT sessions which are typically held weekly at an assigned outdoor field location. TBA.

Fees include (1) tournament of choice, per team, per season. However, teams are expected to enter at least (1) additional tournament and split the fees among players/parents which Sting encourages! Fees can range from $15-$35 per player, depending on age category and tournaments.

Q: Is there a fee for tryouts?

Yes. New players, or returning Sting FC players who HAVE NOT REGISTERED on the tryout registration link will be charged a $20 tryout fee for U9-U17 age levels; $10 for U7 players attending our 'Try Us Out' session. If the player accepts a spot on a team, the tryout fee paid will be credited to the registration fee.

Q: Are there tryouts for the U7 age group?

No. There are no formal tryouts held at this level as per ASA regulations. However, Sting FC does hold informal assessment sessions to place all U7 players onto a respective Sting team. Please note: All players will be placed on a U7 team pending we have enough qualified volunteer coaching staff.

Q: I have registered for tryouts and my child has been accepted on a Sting FC team. What next?

Congratulations! You will receive a message from Sting Admin Support through Team Snap regarding our in-person payment sessions. Full payment of the registration fee, deposits and supporting documents will be due at that time. The Coach will contact you regarding the first practice.

Q: I would like to volunteer, how do I find opportunities to do so?

Volunteer opportunities will be posted through Teamsnap during the season. Volunteers are expected to give 4 hours to the program in order for the volunteer deposit cheque of $200 to be shredded. Parents can opt out by selecting Decline To Volunteer on the player registration form in the EMSA Soccer Portal and pay an additional $200.

Q: My child currently plays soccer, do we have to register for a tryout every season?

Yes, every player must register for Sting FC tryouts on our registration link each season AND register for the season in the EMSA Soccer Portal. If you live in the EMSA South West Zone and your child's registration shows Club Only, DO NOT attend a community league payment session. If you child's registration shows Club Preferred, you MUST attend a community league payment session on time in order for them to hold a community spot until the tryouts are completed. All fee payments made on-line or to your community will be transferred to Sting FC - you will only pay us the difference. If you live in another zone and have paid the community fee on-line, you will need to ask for a refund before they can be transferred to our program. You will pay us the full registration fee directly.

Q: Who can I contact if I need more information?
